  1. In Kenya, Nairoby mall, last saturday, a Samolia's al qaeda was the responsible of an attack were 62 people were killed. The attackers took hostages until the situation was controlled by the Kenya military forces. During the attack, some of the visitors escaped, but others didnt have the same luck. The military forces have everything under control, but they keep looking floor by floor to see if there are more hostages. Some of them say that foreigners were with the attackers which makes this situation in global terrorism. President Obama offered support to the African country. The whole world should be aware with this terrorist group because it has attacked other countries and they can do the same thing again.

  3. I think that the same terrorist group (al Shabab) would target the United States or Europe. because those terrorists are all see the US as a target, they didn't do that just because they have no abilities to do now. If possible, of course they will do. Attacking the US will influence the whole world, which is a result that a local attack will never get.

  4. I think that Al Shabab is doing all this terrorists attacks to call the attention of the media and important countries such as the U.S and some others in Europe. However, I think that the U.S wouldn't be an easy target for them, because after 9/11 the U.S is more prepared to face these attacks. Maybe they can attack other European countries but I think it's not their main goal. They want everybody to know that they are there! That they are dangerous.

  6. If I were to talk about my opinion about this article, I would have to say that the same terrorist group would attack the United States or Europe. Obama who is the president of the United States already stated that he could his best effort to protect Kenya from any terrorism. In my opinion, the statement may provoke the terrorists feel awkward and make a terror. Also, there were some terrors in Europe already, I think the same terrorists that attacked Kenya would target the United States or Europe in near future.

  8. Well, we can think in many different things about when we talk about who are responsible for those attacks and which connection they have with Al Queeda or whoever. First of all, it was a terrorist attack and i believe that all terrorist group has a connection among them, and the members are fro the different parts of the world. Even in the U.S., exist some Americans who don't like their own country. I have a friend who really like the government and the system. He told me some times that he and want to create a new country totally different from U.S. Please this is just a example about Americans who doesn't like your own country but my friend is not a terrorist. sometimes we can fins extremist or fanatic people. who are be able or are blinds for false beliefs and do atrocities, like some Muslim (I said some because i know that exist a lot of really good Muslims) who think that killing Christians will make the world better. So, the answer is yes i believe that all the terrorist attack have some connection or have the same origin.

  9. The article reports detail information of the Kenyan mall attack. The terrorists belong to Somalia's al Qaeda-linked al Shabaab group, and unofficially 62 people including foreign people were killed after the attack. After rescued innocent people, police is checking the mall to make sure that there is any terrorists hiding in there. The credible source says that there are foreign terrorists ( 2 or 3 US citizens, one British women) among those 13-15 killers. Obama said the US is Kenyan side against this terrible outrage, and he will continue to believe in Kenya's stability in eastern Africa.

  10. This is PEdro. I think that is very likely that of these terrorist groups would target the U.S. or Europe because one of the main points of these attacks is to catch the world's attention, so nothing better than target the U.S. or Europe.

  11. I think this group probably will attack or pretend attack the USA because is the greatest economy in the world, and because Obama already said that he wants to help Kenya from this attacks. But, as many of my classmates already said, I think USA has enough protection from this groups.

  12. I am more than sure it's not gonna happen. The group al Shabab would not target the United States or Europe, this group is not powerful; enough to do so. If this group was able to organize the terrorist attack in a mall in Kenya, it doesn't mean that it is already powerful enough to attack USA or Europe. On the other hand, how can we be so sure that this group attacked the mall in Kenya!!!??? Do we know it for a fact? No. We think so because they took responsibility of it. Should we trust this group? No. They obviously want to scare the world and make everyone believe that they are able to target these countries, they just play. Sometimes, even people bluffing....
