  1. In Florida, 15 girls sent to Rebecca Sedgwick messages by phone and internet tormenting Rebecca for stupid circumstances with a boy of the same age. This cyber bulling made Rebecca jump from a bridge. Authorities and families are very concern with this topic because every year there are more young people who commit suicide caused for bullying. Florida police seized Rebecca classmates phones and computers where they found evidence which show that this girls caused the Rebecca's suicide. I think that before certain age, parents should know what their children are writing to others, they should be aware of how the children are using this sources. There should be campaigns in all the schools where they should talk about these sad cases caused by cyber bulling and teach all the students about the importance of the lives of each student around them.

  2. The problem is not cyber-bullying, it is just bullying, Even without the Internet, you cannot avoid from bullying. So the way for people (especially teenagers) to be deterred from cyber-bullying is not close your social networking account. You should become more strong and tough, defeat any enemy, and protect yourself. If it is possible, make more friends, the friends will make you feel not so isolate, and sometimes they can also protect you. At last, be a open person, try more activities, do not close yourself in a close circumstance and small social circle.

  4. It is interesting how teenagers can be sensitive and dangerous at the same time. The last years, many cause of suicides occur because of cyber-bullying. A few months ago other teenager, Amanda Todd, died because she was suffering of cyber-bullying. Actually, there are some many ways for the government, society, parents, and even the own person who does bullying, stop bullying. For preventing bullying and suicide, the school can do more campaign against the bullying, allowing the victim to talk about it, because many of the people, students, teenagers, that are victims of bullying, don't talk about it. So, a good campaign to strength the people who suffer bullying is a good suggestion to stop bulling and prevent suicide.

  5. Rapha:
Once bullying is a reality between teenagers, and authorities and parents are aware of that, it should be a good idea to have programs to teach and motivate teenagers to respect and show then the consequences of these kind of attitudes.
Programs in schools such as classes, or make videos showing real stories or fictional ones to illustrate how dangers it is, and how far these "jokes" and wickedness can ge.
And if someone is a victim of it, the same programs should motivate students to report it to schools leader and parents.

  6. A 12 years old young girl in Florida suicide herself after bullied for long time because of a boy. She had been terrorized by 12 bully girls, so she couldn't go to same school with them. However, even though she eluded from them, the harass continued online. Cyber bullying is increasing recent years among students, so the suicide cases too. In this suicide case, police does not have solution because there is a free-speech law, so the school takes the charge. There is a bullying law in Florida, and it has handled many cyber bullying cases.

  7. The article is mainly about a 12 years girl named Rebecca. She decided to suicide because of the harsh cyber-bullying. She couldn't manage the frustrated feeling so that she was determined to die by herself. She died after she sent a message to a boy that she knew. She moved to another school to avoid the bullying in her school and liked the life in the new school well, but the cyber-bullying was continued. Most of the police couldn't help her, and she had to fight by herself with the cyber-bulling.

  8. This article states very important information about bullying. There are many ways to be bullied for someone, but the most used in these days is what is called Cyber-Bullying. What teenagers can do to avoid this awful situation, is to have more privacy in their social media. They shouldn't be friends with people they don't know. Or if necessary, they should close the social network where they are being bullied. What teenagers need to do is to talk. They should be able to talk to an adult and tell him everything that is going on. They have to be brave and tell their problems to somebody else, so that they can be helped. To prevent such suicides, people in general should be more aware of the real danger that this brings. Parents might be prepared to talk about it with their sons to create trust. Also, there should be efforts to construct an environment of peace, love, and respect in communities and homes.

  9. How can people (especially teenagers) be deterred from cyber-bullying? What can be done to prevent such suicides?

I would say, we can shot once and get two aims. We have to think deeper, the problem comes from the family. When parents are busy at work, with their own issues, they don't give enough parents time and attention to their kids, that's why teenagers start to look for online friends, and eventually become unsociable people. The whole life becomes limited by the internet brackets. Teenagers start to live their Cyber-life. And honestly, it is a problem of this century. People get far from the social activities, they live together but they also live their own life, independent from other family members. At the end they realize they related to each other only by the last name, and there in no longer interest in a family, family's activities like family games, traditions, customs, just simply gathering and listening one another.
The cyber-bullying would not even exist if there is no one who wants to assault and no one who can be assaulted, because these kids would be busy doing stuff with their families.
So, to solve this problem, we have to start with the essential things- start with a FAMILY!

  10. This article seems interesting to me. I was not aware how important it was to protect teenagers from cyber-bullying. Although this is a sad story, this issue has been presented in every country. Perhaps, many people are not aware of this because most of them are not familiar with technology and internet (especially adults and old people). However, in my personal view, I think this problem can be solve at home. The most important social relationship we could have is family. Parents are the ones who influence the most in the teenagers' personality. They can teach teenagers to develop good habits or bad habits. Moreover, when a teenager has a problem he always look for help, but sometimes this help come from wrong saucers such as friends. If a parent do not develop enough communication between his chid and him, this interrupted communication will lead his child to many problems. In sum, I consider that communication and love in families are key in order to stop this sadly issue.

  11. How can people (especially teenagers) be deterred from cyber-bullying? What can be done to prevent such suicides?
I think it's not realistic to set laws about "bullying online and leading others to kill themself", so I think shcools should set more classes about "how to be mentally healthy" in students' Health classes (and it shouldn't be optional classes). Schools should also hire more psychologist to help students solve their problems, which must be free and students' secrets must be protected. On the other hand, parents shouldn't rely on schools. Schools can have many students every year so they probably can't really take care of everyone.Parents should listen more and help children solving their problems. The girl in the article, told her mom about the problem at the first year, but said nothing at the second year. I think the reason why is because she felt that her mom can't help her anything, so she doesn't need to waste both of their time to tell about the problem. It is a sad story, people should pay attention to the problem it shows.

  12. Teenagers are in a crucial part of their lives, they are starting to feel strong emotions, the are developing their personality and they are starting to build what they are going to be in their adult age. At the same time they are leading with the lack of knowledge or just part of the true of how things really are. This is way teenagers are very sensitives to verbal or cyber aggressions. How to prevent suicides? Every starts in home. Nowadays teenagers need parents who care about them... thats all that humanity needs... parents who care.
