Whose responsibility is it to enact consequences to breaking international law? What should the consequences be for Syria for using chemical weapons?
The united nations examined the chemical weapons that were fired in Syria.
ReplyDeleteThey provide the large size, the shape of the munitions and the direction where they were fired. These weapons contained sarin gas, a toxic chemical which can kill hundreds of people in a short time. This is considered as a war crime for the united nations. Many people blames syrian government because this weapons haven't been reported by any syrian insurgency. I think that the united nations should enact consequences for Syria. If they don't, other countries would do it, and it would be catastrophic. Syria should lose benefits with other countries and with the united nations. They must change the government and this country should be supervise by international armies.
It is United Nations' responsibility to enact consequences to breaking international law, at least apparently. It is not only a breaking of international law. It is global politics. If Bashar al-Assad used chemical weapons, it will be his end. The balance will be in USA, in stead of Russian and China. There will be a war and a new government in Syria. Same thing happened in Iraq a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteEven with the article and watching a few videos, I still have a lack of knowledge about what is happening in Syria. This is moment that all people who lead the world need be very careful about pointing any conclusion. It is true that It was a breaking an International Law and the punishment need to be provide for those who did those atrocities but also this is a very delicate situation. I can't think very well about the consequences in the world scale. I just know that the people who lead the chemical attack need to go to jail or receive a international condemnation from the UN, and all the countries of world need to act in response of that atrocities.
ReplyDeleteThe deadly chemical attack in Seria brought in large issue and it is concerned breaking the international law, reported by New York Times. The munitions arms are examined in detail and based on the information, President Bashar al-Assad of Syria is blamed for gas attack for not knowing it. There are doubts and conflicts on this issue. In my opinion, the UN needs to enact in-depth.
ReplyDeleteWhose responsibility is it to enact consequences to breaking international law?
ReplyDeleteWell, since we still don't know for sure if that weapon was used by government or just rabbles,we can just guess (none of mentioned above subjects is proved yet). If I would be a reader know never thought about why it is actually happening,I would probably say, that either government or rabbles. But, I was thinking about it for quite some time. So, in my opinion, responsible for it has to be the third site. Syria is the third nation country, it is a fact. Most of the times only one of two world leader countries has good "father-child" relationship with such countries. These countries cannot survive on their own, countries like Syria have to have subsidies or donations from the "father" country. It is necessary for their economy. On the other hand, it is quite comfortable for the "father" country as well, because "father" can influence the "mood" in the country. And beside that, it also can be a strategical object for "father", in military-wise sense. So,to enact consequences to breaking international law is the responsibility of those who have an interest in having Syria in trouble. I look at that as a someone's strategy. I won't be surprise if there something bigger covered by world-wide known Syria's tragedy.
What should the consequences be for Syria for using chemical weapons?
Syria could be destroyed in political, geographical, or national sense, or in any other sense.
Hello im Raphaela from Brasil! This article is very interesting because it explains that the United Nations made a research about the chemical weapons that were fired in Syria. This research provides what are the compounds that the chemical weapons have. Sarin gas is one of the compounds and using this chemical in weapons is considered a war crime. The United Nations and other countries blame Syria for the elaboration of these weapons. It is very dangerous for the rest of the world that a country like syria is using these of weapons.
ReplyDeleteSyrian government used deadly chemical weapons to kill it's people, and the US got some reports about the weapon. It's breaking the international law. I think if they use this in wars, it would upgrade wars quickly.
ReplyDeleteI think only the United Nations has the ability to enact laws against these kind of crimes. The punishment could be the exile of the persons implicated and the UN takes control of the country until they are ready to be a independent nation again.
