In Korea, thousands of K-pop schools have sprung up. Kim Chae goes to one of these schools and she trains there fight times a week. Like her, other teenagers go to these schools because they want to be like the biggest idol in this country, Psy, the compositor of gangnam style. Korean agencies will recruit them for bands or as models. Years ago, parents saw these as a delinquents places, but now their minds have changed, they are supporting the teenagers.
This article is related with problems between bottled water and tap water. There are two strong arguments, which could seem to right answers against each other. First, one says that bottled water could replace non-calories with a number of amount of calories. People are getting bigger and bigger, so they need to lose their weight with water. They insist that replacing a daily sugared drink with bottld water can eliminate 50,000 calories a year. However, the other argues that we could run 3 million cars for a year on the oil, it takes to have bottled water available in the U.S. That is, bottling it and trucking it or even shipping it across oceans are so expensive that cannot block the waste of electricity. To make matter worse, against to pros, they say that recycling bottles are not operated well.
Cellphone in the United States are abandoned to many other countries such as Ghana, India, and China. Then, childeren in those countries pile e-waste into mountains and burn it so they can extract metals. They don't have excellent and professional skills to recover or recycle those abandoned cellphones and computers, so we need to make sre mountains of e-waste get recycled safely. Also, exposed metals from cellphones or computers such as cadmium, and mercury are quite hazardous materials to human beings, specifically children.
This is a very interesting article. It says that on average, every 22 months, American replace their cellphones. They through them away. But what happened with those cellphones? Well, they go to poor countries such as Ghana, India and also to China. The children are the most injured in this issue. Poor people need to burn this cellphones in order to have metal or other substances, and then sell them for less than a dollar. :( There are a lot of ideas to help this problem be solved. One of them is not sending so many hazardous materials to these countries to help them have a better health. However, this could end with their jobs. Also, they are saying that recycling can be the best option. We should recycle more. Furthermore, "as consumers we need to demand better end-of-life options for our high-tech trash".
.The article " Where your cellphone go to die" is very interesting and helps us to be aware of what happens to many old cellphones. There are many problems in their recycling and I absolutely agree with Carol about many ideas of solving some problems. Additionally, in order to prevent some health problems government should find a way to design electronics that can be more easily recycled . Also, many things depends on phone companies which are making business. They should change the way of doing it and make it more beneficial for both producers and customer. For instance, these companies could sell products complete with recycling service. What is more, phone companies can sell phones with subsriptions that make it possible for customers to exchange old phones for new ones. In this case people will stop throwing away their old cellpnones. As a result, some problems will be reduced and even solved.
I read an article about South Korea, and the title of the article is '"Gangnam Style' Schools". As a Korean, I thought this article was interesting enough. There was an amazing Korean pop star, Psy, last year, and most people in the world danced and sang liked him. It was a big hit, and finally some people started to train little children to make them famous stars in near future. I didn't know that there were some schools like these in Korea before. Actually, there are many children who want to become a big star or famous singer in the future, and they do their best to accomplish their goals. There are many public audition program in Korea, so they can grab their opportunities to achieve their dreams, but I didn't know that there were some schools to train students to be a singer like Psy.
I read an article about Australia, and the title of the article is " A language of their own". Like most teenagers who think that their parents don't understand them, some people in Lajamanu, Australia not only speak English but also speak their own language, Light Warlpiri. It is the first time for Australian to develop their own language, and it seems to survive. The reason for developing Warlpiri is not clear, but young people in Australia developed it by using special grammatical rule for some reasons, I think.

Is bottle water a good idea? There are two perspectives in this article. One of them states that buying water is a good idea. From what a read, it seems to me that this author of the article has good points. For example, he states that buying water will help people to lose some calories in stead of buying sugar beverages that most of the time have a high level of calories. On the other hand, Janet Larsen, from the Earth Policy Institute, states that buying bottle water is not a good idea. She says that by buying bottle water increase contamination around the world because bottle water needs to be transported. In addition, she says that most of the companies that produce bottle water just filter the water from the tap. Therefore, it is just a waste of money to buy it. In my opinion, I would prefer to drink bottle water because it tastes better and you can carry it everywhere you go.

Bottled water... The article states pros and cons of bottled water consumption. Bottled water, for me, is just a marketing idea, is a way enterprises obtain more money, is a business that nothing has to do with people health. Of course drinking water is healthier than drinking any other drink, but there are better ways to do it than buying bottled water. For me, the best water is filtered water. If everyone changes the bottled water for filtered water plenty of worldwide issues will be solved.

It is healthy to drink lots of water during the day becasue it helps to clean the body. And it turned easier for American to buy bottled water than grab water from any other fountain.
