  1. I think the laws of North Carolina are not discriminatory. The main reason to support this argument is that requiring certain identification to vote is necessary for the government. The United States is famous for its various people. There are many people who are from other different countries in the United States. They have all different opinions and idea about politics. Some of them may live in the United States illegally and have a different purpose. I believe voting should be considered as an important task since it can affect the future of the United States. To be a legal voters, they need their specific identification to prove that they are valid to vote, I think.

  2. I think that these laws are not discriminaitory fir two reasons. The recently passed law requiring photo I,D in order to vote is just at the Govener sugests common sense. It helps to prevent voter fraud. This law helps to keep elections fair.

  3. I think that these laws are not discriminatory- they use photo ID so everybody's vote could be traced without cheating. Further more, black people(American) also have the right to vote, which is fairer than before.

The North Carolina's laws are absolutely not discriminatory even though that some people can think this way. The basic requirement to be able to vote is just to have a photo ID. If people want to vote and use their right to vote and have a chance to be able to choose the president of the United States, they gotta get the ID. I also understand that to get the photo ID might be hard and expensive, in this case the government has to take care of it and provide it for free of charge for those people from North Carolina who cannot afford it but still want to participate in elections by voting. It the direct interest for the government to, if the government wants to have fair elections and have all people {citizens} voting, the photo ID has to be taken care of by government!
