Well I think everyone is worried about people down there in the Philippines. It is just incredible to see how many people is suffering form this great disaster. I cannot think of an specific reason of why this happend. However, one thing that I can think of is that God loves his children and he has his own reasons. One thing that is very remarkable for me is that always when something happend the servants of the Lord are protected. For example, the occasion when one of the missionaries was protected when the train in spain crashed. Another thing is that in every disaster and world problem people can find shelter in chapels of the church. This is no just causality. As the article points out "Church buildings provided life-saving refuge during the storm and are now serving as shelters and disaster relief sites." What a wonderful blessing is to have the assurance that God will protect us as his servants and that we can find protection if we stand in holy places.
It is true that people are worry about the people in Philippines. I heard no missionaries died because of the strong storm in Philippines. When I heard the news, I thought it was a miracle. They were definitely lucky and got some blessings from God. More than 10000 people died in Philippines, but they were alive. None can deny that it was a miracle. The only thing I can do right now is hoping God help other people all around the world.
I would be very cruel if I say no. hahaha I think it is a general feelings about the people in Phillipines, not only the missionaries. Families, friends, and many many people were affected, and I was praying for each one of them. I am very glad that all the 24 missionaries were found safe, and I have no doubts that it was a miracle from heavens.
Of course Im worry about them. Actually I know two people from Philippines that live here. I contacted them to ask if their families were ok there. Fortunately they were ok. I wish I could help in some way.
