In my opinion, they are. When I was younger, my father used to watch some American movies at night that may be made by Hollywood. They were too violent, but cool. I used to watch Hollywood movies, but not now. I think they are not my taste right now since I don't want to see people kill with each other. They are disgusting. I think I become more mature than before.
Yes, there are too much violence in Hollywood movies. It is the market economy, people like that, and those movies earned money. However, i don't think gun violence in movies can cause big problem in real lives, in China, we watched war movies since childhood, but because of gun control, there is no social problems. Gun control is a problem, another problem is body violence, I think watching that violence too much can make people violent.
In my opinion no. Of course there is an average that if passed can be considerate violent. But considering the average I do not think that Hollywood movies are too violent; I think it is necessary to have these type of scenes to get the audience's attention, and make the movies interesting.

He was led to do this criminal acts because of the influence that this movie has. Nevertheless, there are also many ways people can prevent these incidents.
Hollywood movies are just commercial, in other words they sell what all people want to see. Although, there are good productions in Hollywood, I really would rather watch an art film or independent film. I don´t think that movies in Holllywood are too violent. This article brought an important topic to my attention. I think that violence in American movies was really increased and it is not good for people who watch them. These people are more likely to start using guns in their real lives which can have bad consequences for society in general. In order to prevent society from big problems and people from violence in real lives the amount of movies with episodes of gun violence in American movies should be reduced.
I think so. "Hero" always makes people think of guns, swords, fights, blood, beauties, and so on. For adults, it's nothing special; for kids, they would like to mimic those acts with the toys. However, if kids get the true thing(such as true gun) one day by accident, they would be curious and play with it just like play with their toys! It would be a big problem if kids think that killing people makes them as cool as heroes in the movies!
I think movies should change people's mind. They should regard "hero" more as "main character" rather than "the fighter who won", they should even separate these two definitions into two different words!
For me Hollywood's movie are becoming more violent. It is related with the culture and development of the technology. The real world is becoming more violent and the people is not worried about seen more violence in the movies because in general movies will retract the world with a good end. Something that in the real world we can not see.

In my opinion, Hollywood is loosing its audiences because of too many violent movies. I don't watch Hollywood movies as much as I used to. Hollewood movies are becoming more fictional, there are not many movies that tell real stories or non fictional stories. It seems Hollywood movie fans are youth and young adults. Therefore, violent movies can affect negatively for these young people. The article mentioned negative affects and increase of violent movies in critic eyes.
In Hollywood there are a lot of violent movies; but, there are also movies without any violence. However, according to the article, the amount of gun violence has increase the last 50 years in a big quantity. I think is the responsibility of parents to take care of what their children see in order to decrease violence in real life.
