It seems like I am the only one who read this article. Well I think that the word "boffins" means a person who study something such as scientists. The article is abut the discovery of a new branche of evolution of the animal called platypus. The article points out the these animals could have been gigantic. Also, it claims that these animals could have tooth and eat frogs and small turtles as well.
Now, I read it too Ulises... I think boffins is a researcher, with less studies that a scientific. (A few minutes later: ) I researched, and boffins is British slang for scientists.
