I believe that people should keep weapons in their home, most of them feel safe when they have weapons, although they will never have chance to use those weapons. In addition, everything may happen, you have to have power to protect yourself, your family, and your properties, so you need weapons, no matter it is a gun, or a sword.
I think that people shouldn´t keep weapons in their home or their apartament. Although having weapons can protect you from a thief, having weapons can trigger in a violent act. I would rather to have a security camera system connected with my cellphone or advice to my house or businesses.
It is pretty fair that people can keep weapons in their homes because by doing so, they have more protection from robbers. This woman is a great example how weapons at home can protect us from an act of robbery. However, people that keep those weapons should keep also in mind that those weapons are in their responsibility. For example, they have to be careful with their children forbidden them the use of those weapons. They can be very risky as well.
I think people should have weapons to protect themselves since the street they are living in is not safe. However, those weapons should be kept in the place that young children cannot reach, or it would probably have a negative effect to them.
This article caught my attention. I guess it was a little bit scary for that woman to find a burglar at her bedside when she was awoke. She did not expect to see stranger who was trying to remove the watch from her wrist. But unfortunately for the burglar she had a weapon that she kept by her side at all times. This situation showed to us how important to have weapon at our houses in order to protect ourselves. There are many people who became victims and did not have guns when they were attacked and robbed. Our lives are full of dangerous situations and we never know what is going to be in the future. Therefore, we need to have weapon for self-protection and for protection our families.
This is a very controversial subject. In my opinion, people should be allowed to keep weapons in their apartments or houses, however, they should undergo through training before get to keep a gun.
When I came here to the US and I heard for the first time that by law people can keep arms in their houses it was a little bit crazy for me... But after have thought about it I think is a good think. Of course needs to be regulated.
That was crazy. Good for the landlord that knew it how to handle it. But also I believe that people can keep guns in their homes. However those people need to be really good instructed about the awareness of having guns at home and they need often do test to check they consciousness and psychology.
Keeping a weapon in home is not a good idea because when people in panic, shock, or an attack, they don't use the weapon correctly. At the end of the incidence, there usually occurs some accidents or mishaps because of wrong usage of weapons. Especially, like the article mentioned, if the lady used the ax, she could have broken the burglar's spine. Violence leads violence, so weapons shouldn't be kept in homes.
