This topic is very controversial because some people think this way to increase security is fine, while others think that is violating people's privacy which is true. By listening the phone calls of the people privacy does not exist anymore. However, this security system has also helped to reduce terrorism acts and many more incidents.
I don't think other people would hear anything interesting if they listened in my phone call. I don't talk about important thing in phone calls, and even I talked for a long time, those things may not be interesting for people who don't know me.
In my opinion, people couldn't hear anything interesting if they listened in my phone call. I don't call very often, so there is no interesting topic since its very common and nothing special. Sometimes I call with my sister, and it sound very interesting, but we don't talk about something important, so it doesn't matter for others, I think.

Many countries are using data from phone calls, email messages and information from online social networking services such as Facebook and Twitter. They are spying in order to guarantee their citizens safety. Even though, the government in many countries is monitoring lives of ordinary citizens and it can be inconvenient for many people, I think they are doing good job. It can bring some benefits such as help in preventing terrorist attacks and saving many people lives.
Well, my country and US don't have a good relationship. After Snowden revealed the US espionage to Brazilian President and some of the Brazilian companies, that relationship is very tense. In m conception, it need to have a limit. For example, the espionage helps to prevent terrorism but not to take advantage upon others. So, in cooperation with the citizen the espionage of the suspect will be more successful. About phone calls i don't make calls often even if I do it is just for friends.
People wont hear anything interesting if they hear my phone conversations. However if they hear phone calls from people trying to hurt other people, that would be "interesting". Nevertheless, I think that spying is not the answer for security.
